Knowledge & Experience

At Peaceable Mediation and Community Solutions Inc., we believe that every conflict presents an opportunity for growth, understanding, and transformation. Our mission is to guide organizations and individuals through the stages of conflict, interest, and collaboration, helping them resolve disputes efficiently, improve workplace morale, and achieve long-term success.

Founded by Soleida Perez, a seasoned peace mediation specialist and conflict resolution educator, Peaceable Mediation offers tailored solutions designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Soleida’s approach is rooted in the Interest-Based method, which focuses on uncovering

the underlying needs and concerns of all parties to foster mutually beneficial solutions. This method ensures a deeper understanding and

longer-lasting resolutions.

With extensive experience in the corporate and community sectors, Soleida brings a deep understanding of workplace dynamics, organizational challenges, and interpersonal relationships. Her advanced training with institutions like ADR Learning Institute and Swisspeace ensures that our methodologies are grounded in best practices and cutting-edge research. She recognizes that effective mediation must embrace cultural differences and honour the diverse ways in which communities resolve conflict and build peace by emphasizing the de-siloing of mediation practices and the inclusion of diverse perspectives.

Embracing Cultural Differences

At Peaceable Mediation, we are deeply committed to fostering inclusive and culturally sensitive practices.  Drawing from principles shared by a network of global mediators  and Indigenous traditions, we honour the varied ways in which interpersonal and community peacemaking occur.

Whether through traditional Indigenous circles or contemporary corporate frameworks, our mediations are designed to respect and integrate the cultural identities of all participants.

In today’s interconnected world, we understand that effective mediation requires a deep respect for cultural contexts. Our practice integrates insights from global and local traditions to ensure all voices are heard and valued.
